Founded in 1978, it was the first freestanding ambulatory surgery center licensed in the state of Missouri. Surgicenter of Kansas City is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) and has consistently been awarded a three-year accreditation, the highest level possible. Since opening its doors three decades ago, our facility is recognized as a highly reputable, successful surgical center, having provided top-quality, compassionate care to over 100,000 patients.
