Our Facility
The Surgicenter of Kansas City is proud to serve the area in its original location, from which our physicians and staff have provided excellent care and successful procedures to thousands of satisfied patients over a period of decades. To ensure that your treatment proceeds smoothly, safely, and pleasantly, the Surgicenter is outfitted with all the technologies and amenities of a top-notch ambulatory surgical center.
Facility
With four operating rooms, one procedure room, a recovery room, and two private overnight-stay rooms, the Surgicenter of Kansas City is equipped to provide you with a same-day or overnight-stay procedure that is comfortable, convenient, and, above all, safe. If your procedure requires overnight care, there are two registered nurses on duty 24 hours a day in our overnight rooms to monitor you so that you can rest worry free while you recover.
Surgicenter of Kansas City is accredited at the highest level possible by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC).

Directions
From the North
Follow I-29 South to Highway 71 South (becomes Bruce R. Watkins Drive) to the 63rd Street and Meyer Boulevard exit. At the second light, turn right on Meyer Boulevard and go west, past Research Hospital, approximately 0.6 miles. Turn right into the entrance to Surgicenter of Kansas City and go straight to the patient parking area, which is across from the front entrance to the building.
From the South
Follow Highway 71 North (which becomes Bruce R. Watkins Drive) to the 63rd Street and Meyer Boulevard exit. At the light, turn left on Meyer Boulevard and go west, past Research Hospital, approximately 0.6 miles. Turn right into the entrance to the Surgicenter of Kansas City, and go straight to the patient parking area across from the front entrance to the building.
From the East
Follow I-470 West to Highway 71 North (left exit) and proceed north to 63rd Street and Meyer Boulevard exit. At the light, turn left on Meyer Boulevard and go west, past Research Hospital, approximately 0.6 miles. Turn right into the entrance to the Surgicenter of Kansas City, and go straight to the patient parking area across from the front entrance to the building.
OR
Follow I-70 West to I-435 South. Proceed south to the 63rd Street exit. Turn right, and continue driving west to Swope Parkway. Turn left on Swope Parkway and proceed to Meyer Boulevard. Turn right and follow Meyer Boulevard west past Research Hospital, approximately 0.6 miles. Turn right into the entrance to the Surgicenter of Kansas City, and go straight to the patient parking area across from the front entrance to the building.
From the West
Follow I-435 East to the Highway 71 North exit (be aware that this exit will be on your left). Continue north on Highway 71 (which will become Bruce R. Watkins Drive) to the 63rd Street and Meyer Boulevard exit. At the light, turn left and follow Meyer Boulevard west past Research Hospital, approximately 0.6 miles. Turn right into the entrance to the Surgicenter of Kansas City, and go straight to the patient parking area across from the front entrance to the building.
